Black Country Atelier (BCA) is a leading provider of Additive Manufacture and Smart Technologies curricula. Unlike traditional content providers we provide Live teacher support online and onsite to give educators the confidence to deliver our courses.
BCA has worked with over 16,000 young people and their teachers through courses, training, and workshops. Our team of instructors work with teachers, schools and colleges, local and national governments, to deliver the highest level of learning outcomes.

Jing Lu is a Mathematician and Design Architect. She worked in Japan and China on contemporary residential projects before returning to the UK where she shares her experiences of working with modern integrated technologies with education clients. Founder and CEO of BCA, Jing is responsible for building and managing projects in partnership with UK schools, universities and industry partners to deliver industry relevant skills to the next generation of designers, engineers and makers.
Garry Bulmer has worked for over 35 years in the IT industry holding positions of Chief Architect or CTO and delivering mission-critical projects to Fortune 500 projects in banking and insurance, continuous and discrete manufacturing, and in retail. Garry has been instrumental in a number of educational projects including the development of the Open University’s SenseBoard – which is used to introduce all Open University students to computing in the TU100 course.
