The Sun is finally out here in Birmingham – so hang up your coats and enjoy the rays! Our maker project of the week is a nifty coat peg we designed and printed in less than an hour, so you can keep your coats high and dry while you stay cool. Our office has a constant flurry of visitors, guests and students and now finally we have an inexpensive 3d printed coat peg for their coats. IMG_2450

And this is how we did it. We started in Sketchup and quickly created the form, taking into consideration the holes for the screws.

A build file was generated and the 3d print was started.

And finally we put it to use!
